Important Information
All healthcare procedures take place in the United States. Applicants from Iran are responsible for obtaining necessary travel documents (visa if required) to enter the United States.
Grants for gender-affirming health and wellness needs including wigs, prosthetics, fertility preservation, voice training, and medical tattooing for transgender individuals from Iran. We generally cover up to 90% of total costs. All purchases take place in the United States.
The Thrive Fund for Iran provides financial assistance as part of our charitable mission to support transgender healthcare. This fund addresses a critical gap in access to gender-affirming care for transgender individuals in Iran.
As a charitable organization, we provide grants based on demonstrated financial need and medical necessity, without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or any other protected characteristic. Our selection process is fair and non-discriminatory.
Our network includes providers experienced with international patients. We work with recipients to identify qualified providers in the United States and ensure quality, safe treatment. All funding is paid directly to healthcare providers, not to individuals.

Conditional Approval
If selected, you will receive conditional approval pending provider verification and treatment planning in the United States.
Provider Registration
Your chosen provider in the United States must register with THAF and submit a treatment plan with cost estimates.
Approved
Once your provider is verified and treatment plan approved, your funding is confirmed.
Treatment
Begin your treatments in the United States. Your provider will bill THAF directly up to your approved amount.
