Our Team
Led by community, for community
THAF is powered by dedicated volunteers who share a commitment to healthcare equity for transgender individuals. Our team combines lived experience with professional expertise.
Community-Led Organization
The Transgender Healthcare Access Fund was founded by LGBTQ+ community members and transgender individuals who understand firsthand the barriers to accessing gender-affirming care.
Our leadership and volunteers come from diverse backgrounds but share a common purpose: ensuring that transgender people can access the healthcare they need regardless of their financial situation.
We believe that those most affected by healthcare disparities should lead the work to address them. That's why transgender voices are centered in our decision-making, program design, and organizational culture.
